The theme review team will coordinate with the metaMeta Meta is a term that refers to the inside workings of a group. For us, this is the team that works on internal WordPress sites like WordCamp Central and Make WordPress. team on the following points.

  1. Find all the themes with the errors
  2. Send bulk message to them to fix the errors

We discussed the Requires at least requirement. The Requires at least is required in the Stylesheet headerHeader The header of your site is typically the first thing people will experience. The masthead or header art located across the top of your page is part of the look and feel of your website. It can influence a visitor’s opinion about your content and you/ your organization’s brand. It may also look different on different screen sizes., however  it is unclear if a theme need to be compatible 2-3 versions back at the time of initial release or when the theme was updated.

We also discussed how hosting Google Fonts locally affect the theme requirements. You can read the whole thread here.
