Amazing results from the queue push day We…

Amazing results from the queue push day.

We had a queue push day yesterday. It was really great to see so many reviewers dropping in and really making a difference. The big news is we got the admin review queue down to zero! It was really great to see as people pinged in channel the tickets they were dealing with and the day rapidly saw the queues get down.

To give perspective this is what things looked like before the event:

  • 161 new tickets are waiting for review.
  • 0 tickets are older than 4 weeks
  • 0 tickets are older than 2 weeks
  • 35 tickets are older than 1 week
  • 95 tickets are older than 3 days
  • 248 tickets are assigned.
  • 166 tickets are older than 4 weeks
  • 227 tickets are older than 2 weeks
  • 242 tickets are older than 1 week
  • 248 tickets are older than 3 days
  • 77 are approved but are waiting to be made live.

This is what it looked like after the event:

  • 80 new tickets are waiting for review.
  • 0 tickets are older than 4 weeks
  • 0 tickets are older than 2 weeks
  • 28 tickets are older than 1 week
  • 52 tickets are older than 3 days
  • 288 tickets are assigned
  • 185 tickets are older than 4 weeks
  • 255 tickets are older than 2 weeks
  • 276 tickets are older than 1 week
  • 284 tickets are older than 3 days
  • 0 are approved but are waiting to be made live.

It’s really incredible what we can do as a team when we focus like this – how strong we are united. The next hurdle is making sure this keeps up. To do that, we need diligence. Admins or key reviewers, if you re-opened a ticket make sure you check it doesn’t get lost without an owner. Also, those that took reviews, make sure they get done in 7 days.

This event was so good, lets try to do one a month. Not everyone will turn up to each and certainly we shouldn’t be getting the queues as bad if we try and keep up. It’s worth having a day a month though where we try and clean up things. I’ll post here again the week before a next one starts.

Thanks again all that turned up, you made a real impact.
