Team meeting: Checklists

Note: These are all in note form from the team meetings that took place over 2 days after the WordPress summit. When words like everyone and we are used, they are done for the group that was there. This was a cross section of the people who review and work on this project.

This meeting’s objective was to discuss having a checklist, people have asked but what should we do and what can we do to make the guidelines easier to not even need this?

Discussion:
People want it. This is in part due to complexity of guidelines.
Fix maybe is to fix the guideline complexity.
It’s a hard balance to not spoon feed and not leave out in cold.
Our workflows are personal – they also should be.
The need for a checklist is a response to the mess of content.
