Embeds: Visual Survey of the oEmbed feature plugin, Macnchrome, iPhone 5S

Surveying the oEmbed API feature plugin, which makes WordPress an oEmbed provider and allows you to embed posts from other WordPress sites. Related ticket: #32522

Using it is pretty simple:

  1. Find a blog post you like to embed
  2. Copy its URLURL A specific web address of a website or web page on the Internet, such as a website’s URL www.wordpress.org
  3. Paste it into the editor

They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party needs to be active on both sites to work.
