In the editor, link existing text to an existing post.

: Highlight the text to link.

: Head over to the link button in the editor toolbar.

: Click the link icon.

: I often accidentally start my search in the URLURL A specific web address of a website or web page on the Internet, such as a website’s URL www.wordpress.org field at the top. Instead, go down to the Search field and type in the beginning of the title of the post we want to link.

: Click the first result.

: Click Add Link

: Link made. Click the link to bring up the inline link toolbar and verify the link.

: Done.
