The Test Team helps manage testing and triage across the WordPress ecosystem. They focus on user testing of the editing experience and WordPress dashboard, replicating and documenting bug reports, and supporting a culture of review and triage across the project.
Proposed Customizer Site Icon Flow

Start on the front end.
Admin bar -> site title -> Customize.
Customizer opens. Click “Site Identity” (formerly Site Title and Tagline).
Click change image.
Media Modal opens. Select an image.
Click Select and Crop.
Cropper opens. Adjust the handles.
Click crop.
Modal closes, new cropped icon shows up in Customizer controls, and favicon is updated in the browser.
