Scroll down.

Once you hit the bottom of the list, scrolling get wonky. Here I can scroll the widget area plus the preview all around.

Sometimes scrolling gets stuck.

If you keep scrolling, the widgets area vanishes and the preview keep scrolling.

I missed a screenshot. After getting scroll reoriented I chose the Image Gallery widget provided by Jetpack and ended up here. Tap Choose Images.

The media modal comes up. Tap Add to Gallery.

Another and then tap Add to gallery and then tap Insert gallery (not pictured). The transition from Add to Gallery to Insert Gallery was subtle since the only visible thing that changed was the button text. I thought my tap didn’t register so I tapped again, which inserted the gallery. I didn’t realize what happened until after the fact, which is why I missed grabbing a screenshot of the insert.
