Some of my blogs are image blogs featuring lots of single image posts with no titles. This is what I see when managing posts.

wordpress.comWordPress.com An online implementation of WordPress code that lets you immediately access a new WordPress environment to publish your content. WordPress.com is a private company owned by Automattic that hosts the largest multisite in the world. This is arguably the best place to start blogging if you have never touched WordPress before. https://wordpress.com/’s new interfaces have a reader like view for posts that better supports no title image blogging.

My dream is that all coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. list table screens will have a reader view and a bulk op view. The bulk op view would be the existing list table. On the edit.php screen, the reader view would replace the excerptExcerpt An excerpt is the description of the blog post or page that will by default show on the blog archive page, in search results (SERPs), and on social media. With an SEO plugin, the excerpt may also be in that plugin’s metabox. view, and the existing switcher would switch between the reader and bulk op views.

  +1 — even just grabbing first set of characters from an image name would go a long way. Making the post title unique, even if not perfectly readable.

- As far as the title itself, it seems that some more discussion will be germaine, as there are probably defaults that’d make sense:
IE:
IF post_type NOT supports Title AND post_type supports thumbnail
THEN the_title = thumbnail
