Requesting two sandboxes (cleared with Matt):

 * [@drewapicture](https://profiles.wordpress.org/drewapicture/): public key to
   be attached.
 * [@kraftbj](https://profiles.wordpress.org/kraftbj/): should have a public key
   at Automattic under the same username.

Additionally, [@drewapicture](https://profiles.wordpress.org/drewapicture/) will
need SVNSVN Apache Subversion (often abbreviated SVN, after its command name svn)
is a software versioning and revision control system. Software developers use Subversion
to maintain current and historical versions of files such as source code, web pages,
and documentation. Its goal is to be a mostly compatible successor to the widely
used Concurrent Versions System (CVS). WordPress core and the wordpress.org released
code are all centrally managed through SVN. https://subversion.apache.org/. commit
to the metaMeta Meta is a term that refers to the inside workings of a group. For
us, this is the team that works on internal WordPress sites like WordCamp Central
and Make WordPress. repository.

# 󠀁[Proxy Access for Jenny Wong](https://make.wordpress.org/systems/2015/08/18/proxy-access-for-jenny-wong/)󠁿

[@miss_jwo](https://profiles.wordpress.org/miss_jwo/) [has been added](https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/outreach/p1438705776001254)
to the Community Team’s Super Deputy group, so she’ll need proxy access (similar
to [a previous request](https://make.wordpress.org/systems/2015/06/18/per-jenmylo-were-granting-limited-super-admin-capabilities/)
for the original group).

She’s gone through the security checklist; could someone please set her up? After
that’s ready I can help her configure her laptop.

Jenny, please post your public key in the comments.

# 󠀁[HTTPS Redirect for International Sites](https://make.wordpress.org/systems/2015/08/15/https-redirect-for-international-sites/)󠁿

Originally reported in [#meta-1132](https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/1132).

There is currently no auto-redirect to HTTPS for our local sites like https://de.
wordpress.org/. It had worked for a short time because of a change in WP ([#27954](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/27954))
to `redirect_canonical()` but it got reverted later ([#29708](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/29708)).
In [a chat](https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/meta/p1437158971000128) with [@nacin](https://profiles.wordpress.org/nacin/)
he proposed that this should be handled on our LBs.

We currently have ~145 local sites. Adding all subdomains to a redirect rule isn’t
something we want I think. Can we force all subdomains to be HTTPSHTTPS HTTPS is
an acronym for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure. HTTPS is the secure version
of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website
that you are connected to. The 'S' at the end of HTTPS stands for 'Secure'. It means
all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted. This is especially
helpful for protecting sensitive data like banking information.? AFAIK only api.
w.org and planet.w.org would be an exception.
