Sustainability Team meetings start at 11:00 UTC bi-weekly on Fridays. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the meeting by commenting in SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. threads during the meeting and throughout the following days. Meeting notes will be published by the following Tuesday to also incorporate these asynchronous conversations.

1️⃣ News and updates

• WordPress Sustainability Team’s GithubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ has been added to the directory created by Open Sustainable Technology.
• WCUS it’s getting closer so we can start taking about the focus for the sustainability table con the Contributor DayContributor Day Contributor Days are standalone days, frequently held before or after WordCamps but they can also happen at any time. • Now that the team badges are already setup, people involved on the team can request them according to the decided criteria.

• During the last Monthly Mentorship Chat one of the points was the proposal to Work Closely with the Sustainability Team. There are already some positive comments, feel free to drop your opinion too.
• Feedback on WP Sustainability Team Roadmap proposed at the previous meeting. Check the details in the chat summary.
• Feature overview of the WP Sustainability plugin and the guidelines: feedback and addings to the 2 documents are welcome
• Training team testing GatherPress as an alternative for MeetupMeetup All local/regional gatherings that are officially a part of the WordPress world but are not WordCamps are organized through https://www.meetup.com/. A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find options in your area..

• Improve Sustainability Team handbook 
• Improve the Sustainable Events Handbook section.
• Leave your feedback on the Project Health Dashboards hangouts summary
• Organizations sponsoring non-staff
• Adopt and integrate Open Collective
• Create a draft to collect information about the efforts made by the WCEU’s organizers in favor of environmental sustainability.
• Let’s create a better overview of WP Sustainability issues
• Create a template/pattern for a sustainability page for WordCamp sites

3️⃣ Open Discussions

Anyone is more than welcome to bring any topic for open discussion during the meeting.
