Weekly Meetings

As well as discussing support issues here on the blog, we use Slack for group communication.

Our meetings are held fortnightly on Thursday at 17:00 UTC, in #forums on SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/., with agendas published below.

I’m also going to be at WCNYC Contributor DayContributor Day Contributor Days are standalone days, frequently held before or after WordCamps but they can also happen at any time. They are events where people get together to work on various areas of https://make.wordpress.org/ There are many teams that people can participate in, each with a different focus. https://2017.us.wordcamp.org/contributor-day/ https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/getting-started/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day/. (Support Team lead) Friday. @macmanx Can we talk tomorrow about any items the team may want to see worked on or looked at?

One year we got a volunteer who did some very good editing of the first handbook. There’ll be a lot of talented folks there. 😉
