Weekly Meetings

As well as discussing support issues here on the blog, we use Slack for group communication.

Our meetings are held fortnightly on Thursday at 17:00 UTC, in #forums on SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/., with agendas published below.

With the maintenance release of 3.9.1 there were some language pack issues which should be resolved
Any other reported issues with 3.9.1?

- Don’t close forum topics without leaving a note as to why the topics is being closed.

The IRC chats are at 2:00am my local time thus I typically won’t make them.

I plan on writing up a post regarding the 3.9.1 translations issue on https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/

I will try to get that up soonish and post a link here once done.

A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find options in your area..
