Title: IRC Meetup agenda for week #11 Author: Jan Dembowski Published: March 10, 2014 Last modified: March 12, 2014 --- [ ](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jdembowski/) [Jan Dembowski](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jdembowski/) 10:29 am _on_ March 10, 2014   # IRC Meetup agenda for week #11 Last week was fairly agenda-less but this week possible items for discussion on the IRC meeting: * [3.9 beta1 is close](https://make.wordpress.org/core/2014/03/03/daily-ticket-triage-meetings-at-1900-utc-this-week/) and a [3.9 Codex page](https://codex.wordpress.org/Version_3.9) has been started( Thank [@kpdesign](https://profiles.wordpress.org/kpdesign/) for [the Docs update](https://make.wordpress.org/updates/2014/03/08/docs-team-update-for-march-6-2014/)) * The upcoming new profile pages (the coffee and specifics hasn’t set in for me re this item but subliminally there’s something [@jenmylo](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jenmylo/) posted that made me want to discuss it with support) * Blue Welcome box on make/support like the other make pages? There’s a “Not for support sticky” already but a box with more verbiage may be useful. Please add to the comments below any items you’d like discussed in this week’s IRC meetupMeetup All local/regional gatherings that are officially a part of the WordPress world but are not WordCamps are organized through [https://www.meetup.com/](https://www.meetup.com/). A meetup is typically a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find options in your area.. ### Share this: * [ Threads ](https://make.wordpress.org/support/2014/03/irc-meetup-agenda-for-week-11/?share=threads) * [ Mastodon ](https://make.wordpress.org/support/2014/03/irc-meetup-agenda-for-week-11/?share=mastodon) * [ Bluesky ](https://make.wordpress.org/support/2014/03/irc-meetup-agenda-for-week-11/?share=bluesky) * [ Facebook ](https://make.wordpress.org/support/2014/03/irc-meetup-agenda-for-week-11/?share=facebook) * [ X ](https://make.wordpress.org/support/2014/03/irc-meetup-agenda-for-week-11/?share=x) * [ LinkedIn ](https://make.wordpress.org/support/2014/03/irc-meetup-agenda-for-week-11/?share=linkedin) 1. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/d106e3b5d594070e2328a00b9c1cea892806a1fe239d58c65150190b555e1f88? s=32&d=mm&r=g) 2. The coffee set in minutes late. 4. > Hey Team Reps: Will want to talk with you about how to tell who’s an active > member on your teams so the stuff that’s manual now could hopefully be automated > in the future. 5. That’s the item I wanted to discuss. 6. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/8bf29c777c4a386cb938cb3afc6fa6398259c5d31103b9704f75feba84b6b385? s=32&d=mm&r=g) 7. I think you could incorporate the current blue sticky at the top into the Welcome box. 😉 9. * ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/27180c82524020e7339e2b30818b6d8ab004c54f730f12b1434b1e365be0e175? s=32&d=mm&r=g) * [Ipstenu (Mika Epstein)](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ipstenu/) 3:15 pm _on_ March 10, 2014 * The only reason it says “Not a support place…” is because the handbook got a LOT of that in the beginning. I’m for rewriting it to be more welcomeing 🙂 10. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/27180c82524020e7339e2b30818b6d8ab004c54f730f12b1434b1e365be0e175? s=32&d=mm&r=g) 11.
