IRC Meetup agenda for week #11

Last week was fairly agenda-less but this week possible items for discussion on the IRC meeting:

3.9 beta1 is close and a 3.9 Codex page has been started (Thank @kpdesign for the Docs update)
The upcoming new profile pages (the coffee and specifics hasn’t set in for me re this item but subliminally there’s something @jenmylo posted that made me want to discuss it with support)
Blue Welcome box on make/support like the other make pages? There’s a “Not for support sticky” already but a box with more verbiage may be useful.

Hey Team Reps: Will want to talk with you about how to tell who’s an active member on your teams so the stuff that’s manual now could hopefully be automated in the future.

That’s the item I wanted to discuss.

I think you could incorporate the current blue sticky at the top into the Welcome box. 😉

  The only reason it says “Not a support place…” is because the handbook got a LOT of that in the beginning. I’m for rewriting it to be more welcomeing 🙂

FYI, I’ll miss the meeting. Flying to Atlanta for WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. Dealing with misinformation – How do you approach it without offending the one who’s in the wrong but doesn’t know it and how to properly “butt into” a help session without seeming like an ass.

I’d love to hear how others handle this.
