They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/\">https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/<\/a> or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party.<\/span><\/span><\/span> author for SnapPress Connect.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/snappress-connect\/\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have imported a complete Japanese translation and would like it reviewed and approved. The translations were submitted from <a href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/kenkuri\/\" class=\"mention\"><span class=\"mentions-prefix\">@<\/span>kenkuri<\/a>, which is my other account and is listed in the plugin\u2019s Contributors.<\/p>\n<p>Currently waiting for review:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stable (latest release): 35 <span tabindex='0' class='glossary-item-container'>strings<span class='glossary-item-hidden-content'><span class='glossary-item-header'>String<\/span> <span class='glossary-item-description'>A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/li>\n<li>Stable Readme (latest release): 90 strings\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The plugin already ships complete Japanese .<span tabindex='0' class='glossary-item-container'>mo files<span class='glossary-item-hidden-content'><span class='glossary-item-header'>MO files<\/span> <span class='glossary-item-description'>MO, or Machine Object is a binary data file that contains object data referenced by a program. It is typically used to translate program code, and may be loaded or imported into the GNU gettext program. This is the format used in a WordPress install. These files are normally located inside ...\/wp-content\/languages\/<\/span><\/span><\/span>, so the admin <span tabindex='0' class='glossary-item-container'>UI<span class='glossary-item-hidden-content'><span class='glossary-item-header'>UI<\/span> <span class='glossary-item-description'>UI is an acronym for User Interface - the layout of the page the user interacts with. Think \u2018how are they doing that\u2019 and less about what they are doing.<\/span><\/span><\/span> is fully translated. The goal here is to have the plugin directory page shown in Japanese as well.<\/p>\n<p>Note on the 3 warnings in Stable Readme: they are all \u201cmissing the initial uppercase\u201d. The Japanese translations begin with \u201ciPhone\u201d, which cannot be capitalised.
