We’re about to release WordPress Android 2.8 and we need you to translate the release notes:

  • New blog detail view in the reader
  • Statistics performance improvements
  • Samsung Multi-Window is now supported
  • Better UIUI UI is an acronym for User Interface - the layout of the page the user interacts with. Think ‘how are they doing that’ and less about what they are doing. design on small tablets for the Notifications and Comments screen
  • New translations: Turkish, Traditional Chinese (partial) and English (United Kingdom)
  • Other minor improvements

A lot of effort went into converting WPAndroid’s english stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. to follow the new Android writing guidelines. It meant that most strings that have a sentence structure are now lower-case, except for the first word.

Unfortunately this means that all of the strings that were changed will also need to be updated for each translation. Thanks again for your help translating, you guys are heroes!
