Hi polyglots We’re about to release WordPress Android…

Hi polyglots,

We’re about to release WordPress Android 2.7 and we need you to translate the app description, promo text and release notes.

  • App description:
    WordPress for Android puts the power of publishing in your hands, making it easy to create and consume content. Write, edit, and publish posts to your site, check stats, and get inspired with great posts in the Reader. What’s more? It’s open source.

    WordPress for Android supports WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress.org sites running WordPress 3.6 or higher.

    Visit the forums to get help with the app: http://android.forums.wordpress.org

  • Promo text (max 80 characters, this text is used when the app is featured on the Play Store):
    Write new posts, edit content, and manage comments on your WordPress blog.

  • Release notes (max 500 characters):
    * Refresh button has been replaced by a pull to refresh gesture.
    * Stats have been optimized to load and scroll faster than ever before.
    * Posts and Pages now support infinite scroll.
    * Media upgrades let you see content faster and scroll more smoothly.
    * Better post editor, uses less of your device's memory when adding media to a post.
    * Minor tweaks and fixes.

    If you enjoy using the WordPress Android app, please take a moment to write a review — your input is invaluable to us.

App description and promo text won’t change for a while, but we’ll need you again for 2.8 release 😉 – thanks!

A lot of effort went into converting WPAndroid’s english stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. to follow the new Android writing guidelines. It meant that most strings that have a sentence structure are now lower-case, except for the first word.

Unfortunately this means that all of the strings that were changed will also need to be updated for each translation. Thanks again for your help translating, you guys are heroes!
