I love so much the https translate wordpress…

I love so much the https://translate.wordpress.org/languages/LANGUAGECODE pages for we validators it’s nice have for our language have a site that show if there is string to translate, to approve in every project (i hope all will be there soon). I’m planning to make link to this page from our national website official page to address people that willing to contribute in translation. Unfortunately this page update really slow, i translated some string this morning, i approved some suggestion ecc, but the page is still showing string to be approved etc, but when you go to translate or approve it there is nothing to do. This it’s not a problem for me i know update is slow but if someone willing to spend some time to do some translation and pickup a project with, let’s say 20 strings untranslated and opening the project there nothing to translate, cause someone else have done it, this can be confusing and make people go away and never return. Can we have quite real time update for these pages? or at lest an update time of not more than 15/30 mins maximum?

The update to wp 4.0 creates a problem…

The update to wp 4.0 creates a problem with some translations because once you installed reappears updating the “translations” as an option.

FYI from @dd32 ‘s comment on core P2…

FYI – from @dd32 ‘s comment on core P2:

Localised (non-english) installs are currently not receiving Background Updates.

3.7.1 Background updates will be enabled for localised builds shortly, there’s just been some unexpected WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ infrastructure work that needs to happen first.

They’ll be enabled in the near future (next few days for sure) but in the meantime you can either update manually, or, if you’re not being affected by any of the bugs fixed in it (there’s no security fixes in this release) simply wait a few extra days for it to kick in.

Let’s not freak out 🙂 The best thing we can do for the users with localized install is to provide correct information about the situation.

Also from the same thread:

Background updates occur at 7am/7pm Local time (whatever the timezone your blog is set to).

Background updates are being rolled out at a slow pace to all sites, it may be a few hours before your site has been given the autoupdate offering, and then it’ll wait until the next 7am/7pm timeslot before it attempts the update.

You’ll receive an email when the autoupdate completes (or if it encounters an error which prevents it from updating)

Reposting from GlotPress sorry confused yet again I…

(Reposting from GlotPressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org., sorry, confused yet again)
I was going to ask for some pointers on how to update the Gaelic build from 3.3 to 3.3.1 and noticed that we’re at 0% (https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp/3.3.x) – seems I’ve been keeping the future 3.4 (https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp/dev/gd/default) up to date instead. Now I fervently hope I don’t have to redo that all – could someone let me know what I need to do to get those into 3.3.x? Cheers

I have a problem with svn I can’t…

I have a problem with svn. I can’t delete tags on server.
Localy I delete with:
$ svn delete –force any-dir/
but when I update the server with
$ svn update
the files on server remain.
It’s a serious problem because I’m preparing the new WordPress version.
