Hello @perya
As we discussed on #slack, the AR Forum and the ARY forum need to be merged to one forum (https://ar.wordpress.org/support/), please make sure to export all the topics to the new forum as well as users and moderators.

Best,

Dear Polygots Team,

Happy 2016!

At the 2015 WordPress Community Summit, the Support Team discussed a few items that we would like to work on. One of the main ones came from a realisation that the current Support Team only really represents the English speaking community.

With that, we thought it would make perfect sense to connect with the rest of the different localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams//language communities, rosettaRosetta The code name of the theme for the local WordPress sites (eg. bg.wordpress.org is a “Rosetta” site). All locale specific WordPress sites are referred to as “Rosetta sites.” The name was inspired from the ancient Rosetta Stone, which contained more or less the same text in three different languages. or not and strengthen the Support Team to represent WordPress as a whole, and not just the English crowd.

We are working on

1. Identifying these locale/language leaders
2. Sharing with them our vision of having direct support connections between localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/
3. Asking them to identify a person (or more) that can be the Support Liaison for the locale/language (it does not necessarily have to be themselves).

We would love if the Support Liaison can
• Speak English (to at least some level, we do need to talk to them)
• Loves Support
• Is a person the rest of the community in that language can trust
• Understands that joining the team means we’re a family that volunteers for WordPress and are friends with each other

What they will likely do is basically become a form of a communication bridge between us and the rosetta/locale community. We don’t actually have the full plan yet and we aim to get everyone (or a decent percentage) in before we start some level of discussion about how we can make this work.

So that being said, while we have identified some locale leaders, there are many locale communities that we are unfamiliar with.

If you are a part of a locale community, could you give us the name (SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. usernames preferred!) of the person we can speak to?

There is a support topic ongoing for an issue where a localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ team has built and deployedDeploy Launching code from a local development environment to the production web server, so that it's available to visitors. WordPress 3.9 with the incorrect tag delivering ‘4.0-alpha’ rather than ‘3.9’.

is_IS (Icelandic) has not had the package rebuilt and this is needed.

nl_NL (Dutch) has had it’s package rebuilt and instructions to reinstall are also in this post.

The instructions to reinstall once a localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. Forum moderators

Given that many of us here double as forum moderators for our own languages, I would like to encourage all to keep informed about what is going on over at https://make.wordpress.org/support. Please feel free to contribute your own opinion, which is not only welcome, but actually needed.

One of the first examples of what you can use on your own forums is the list of Stock Answers to common problems of users not following the posting rules on the forums. The conversation which gave birth to that is here, do read it.

I suggest that each language’s moderation team should translate those answers to their own language and use them on their forums, adapting the links to their own version of the Codex, if one exists. Come to think of it, it would be brilliant if the forum rules were to exist for every language that has a forum.

A conversation about the Codex has also just begun and I think that this is the perfect opportunity to have the issues of localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ other than English addressed from the start.

In order to post on that blog, you will need to be added to it. Should you want to, please let me know, so that I can do that (keep in mind that only forum moderators will be added)
