Can i please get an admin access to WP Rossetta portal as the current page has too many translation errors, i have tried to contact the current admin but i haven’t got any response back. currently i do have validatorValidator See translation editor. privileges on that portal but that does not allow me to edit any of the contents.

Your help in this regard would be extremely appreciated.

We’ve just finished translating WordPress into Vietnamese and…

We’ve just finished translating WordPress into Vietnamese and I’m trying to release updated translations and an updated version of WordPress to vi.wordpress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/.

I’m confused about the process. There’s a tool in the vi.wordpress.org backend that allows me to release updated translations, but the version of WordPress that’s included in the package is old. I think it’s coming from here: https://i18n.svn.wordpress.org/vi/trunk/dist/. Those files are very old. contain redirects, and in general need to be gutted. I’ve attempted to clean this up with my .org username but I don’t have access.

What is the proper way of releasing new translations + WP packages? Is it safe to just delete that entire /dist/ folder so that WordPress is only pulled from the English version of /trunk/ for now, along with the translation files that we’ve done?

Hi there. I have a few questions and issues that we’re trying to sort out over at vi.wordpress.org and

  1. On sites like http://ja.wordpress.org and http://es.wordpress.org there are welcome sections that I cannot figure out how to add into the Vietnamese site. There are only two users on the site right now, and we’re both Editors, and I’m not sure how page templates and/or front page content is set. Can you point me to some information on this?
  2. Do you have a list of validators for Vietnamese, or is there somewhere I can see it? The validators for the language at the moment should be me (philiparthurmoore), Tran Ngoc Tuan Anh (fitwp), and Buy Huy Thang (gsmeanspro). I thought I could control this from within the vi.wordpress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ Dashboard under Users, but it doesn’t seem to be related.

My workflow:

1. add all dependent files into svn at /tags/3.7/dist (liesmich.htmlHTML HTML is an acronym for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is a markup language that is used in the development of web pages and websites. & wp-config.php)
2. commit changes to svn
3. go to rosetta

Build a new packet:

  • source: translate.wordpress.orgtranslate.wordpress.org The platform for contributing to the translation of WordPress core, themes and plugins.
  • LocaleLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ branch: /tags/3.7

I get following error message:

There is a veeery long deploy request lists, and those jobs can’t be undone, also every time I ask a deploy, I get permission errors, like this:
