Hello Poly,

We as Persian WordPress users have not seen any new translations after WP 4.3.1 came out.

Translation team works are almost totally dead and their website (wp-persian.com) is inactive for months and they (@gonahkar and @mani_monaj) don’t provide any response to the users in their forums.

Sometimes around 5 years ago I was contributing to fa.wordpress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ but then got removed by current moderators and opted out from being able to publish new translations of later WP releases.

I acknowledge current team members for all the things they’ve done to Persian WP. However I’m here now to request for being granted access to fa.wordpress.org dashboard and keep Persian WordPress alive.

It seems that Persian fa_IR, does not have a validatorValidator See translation editor. or one that isn’t available very often. Could you please add me as a validator for that language? Alos for Mongolian mn_MN, please.

I’d also like to add a Tajik translation tg_TJ, which is a form of Persian spoken mainly in Tajikistan.

Hello, I am new to GlotpressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org. and have contributed a few translations in Persian, Urdu, Mongolian and Kirgiz. I am wondering what the validators in Persian, Mongolian and Kirgiz are up to, because there doesn’t seem to have been any validating activity in the last three to four weeks. Urdu seems to be validating.
Can anyone shed some light on that? Thanks.

In GlotPress when i translate to a right…

In GlotPressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org., when i translate to a right-to-left language such as a Hebrew, Arabic or Persian and i look at a list of existing translations, the translated stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. is garbled, because it is not properly aligned. It is very easy to fix: just add “direction: rtl” to td.translation.foreign-text in the CSSCSS CSS is an acronym for cascading style sheets. This is what controls the design or look and feel of a site. when the language being translated is one of the right-to-left languages.

Also, is there a proper bug tracking system for WordPress or GlotPress? Something like Bugzilla or RT?
