Yes, I’ve read the resources and there’s a lot of talk about checking in and checking out and making packages but I’m mainly a translator, not a developer so my grip on all that is very tenuous. And no, unfortunately there’s no one for my locale who is a developer who can svn in his/her sleep. Perhaps on Skype or the GlotpressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org. chat (irc://irc.freenode.net/glotpress)? I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it but right now, we have a complete translation and no idea what to do next :/

Some users are a bit confused as where to post (in the current subforums) because of somehow overlapping similar subforum topics, and there are also requests to create new subforums as well.

when I update to 3.1.3 in our language. I checked and compared dist files and original coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. files using notepad. Everything is exactly the same except translated stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.. That warning disappear when I update to en_US version. What’s wrong with it ?

Updating the locale sites with the WordPress.org theme + upgrading to 3.0x branch

One thing that has been bugging me a bit is the fact that the international WordPress sites I know (for instance http://fy.wordpress.org and http://nl.wordpress.org ) are still using the old theme. And that’s a shame imo. We have a nice and shiny theme on wordpress.org so why can’t we have this one on our locale?

Also, I believe we’re still on the 2.9 branch .. isn’t it about time we got these things upgraded and in par with the main site?
