stand. I am not requesting an editor role for any of them, and I am not asking anyone
to approve them. They are offered only as a starting point for whoever wants one.
Please reject or discard them freely if they are not useful to your team. If a team
would rather not have them sitting in the queue at all, say so here and I will remove

Two notes on the import warnings. Finnish raised 25 “missing the initial uppercase”
warnings: they are language names, which Finnish writes in lower case (Italian -
> italia), so they are false positives. Japanese and Tamil raised 2 each, and Hindi,
Korean, Oriya, Telugu and Urdu 1 each. The other ten locales imported with none.

# 󠀁[PTE Request for Actirise](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2026/04/02/pte-request-for-actirise/)󠁿

I apologise in advance if I’m not going about this the right way, but I am the pluginPlugin
A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added
to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your
WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language
and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org
Plugin Directory [https://wordpress.org/plugins/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/)
or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party. author for Actirise. Our plugin
has already been translated (via MO/PO) into several languages, and we would like
to import these translations and also have control over the readme.txt file. Would
it therefore be possible to grant our user [@actirise](https://profiles.wordpress.org/actirise/)
PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as
PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for
example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project
translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors.
Per project translation, editors are appointed by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
or by the contributors themselves. access so that they can carry out these translations:

# 󠀁[Hello Polyglots team,](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2025/12/01/hello-polyglots-team-40/)󠁿

I have submitted several translation suggestions for the plugin https://wordpress.
org/plugins/ai-builder/ — AI Builder.
 Could the General Translation EditorsTranslation
Editor Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General
Translation Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project
Translation Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects. There
are two different Translation Editor roles: [General Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/tag/fi/?output_format=md#general-translation-editor)
and [Project Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/tag/fi/?output_format=md#project-translation-editor)
for the following localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of
a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used
in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/)
please review these pending stringsString A string is a translatable part of the
software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.?
