i submitted/corrected a translation for bbpress for Slovenian language.
It is critical because there is a bug and a warrning appears if i use the current translation.
I sumitted this on 18.5.2016. How long should it take that the corrections are accepted?
You can see it here:
After two months, I have translate bbpress to the Persian language. How can I send it to you to be add in the core of translations?
I’ve seen this page :
but I want to send my own file . that file i mentioned is out of dated and with to many wrong translations
we’ve moved the BuddyPress and bbPress projects to the plugins tab in your locale overview, means they are now listed at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins. The stable and development projects are moved 1:1 to the new path.
Projects for older versions are archived and can be accessed at the old URLs, https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/bbpress/ and https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/buddypress/.
If you have Translation Editors for both of the projects please update their permissions. It’s now possible to add Translation Editors to sub-projects like BuddyPress or bbPress. 🎁 (If you found something broken please report it at the comments or in #1101.)
Dear fr_FR validators,
I finished to translate the last strings waiting, I would love that the bbPress get finalized. It’s only waiting for validators….
I finished translating the entire bbPress 2.5.x Vietnamese language pack in a .PO file. Now that I would like to upload, it seems as though the option to uploading is not available for me as a contributor. Can you either let me join the bbPress Validator team (temporarily) and / or let me know the assigned Vietnamese validator to whom I can send the .PO file to? Entering the translations one string at a time online (more than 1,000 strings) is not practical nor doable for me since I am on and off the Net very frequently due to my job. Since there is currently no bbPress Vietnamese translation, this .PO file is perfect to upload all at once.
Thank you so much!
P.S: I am thinking of translating other components such as BuddyPress or WordPress and many others in due time. Will I need to put out requests similar to this request every time when I need help in uploading the .PO to the appropriate component(s)?
The latest strings for both BuddyPress and bbPress `/dev` branches are now available for translation.
Just like WordPress Core and Akismet, once a language is 100% translated these are packaged up into a language pack and made available to be automatically downloaded and installed by WordPress.
Thanks in advance from both the bbPress and BuddyPress teams 🙂
I just saw the bbPress translations being updated while updating to WordPress 3.9.1 which made me very happy. When I then updated a multi-site instance to 3.9.1 (with also bbPress activated in the network) there were no updates of the bbPress language files.
Any idea why I would have two different outcomes?
I began to translate bbPress into Croatian language. Also, there’s a translation before. But nothing has been validated. Nothing happens.
I would like to be one of the validator. Thanks in advance.
I wrote here few days ago, but I don’t know where is the message. Never mind.
I noticed that the Macedonian WP translation was a bit out of date (last release is 3.6 – August 2013) and the team isn’t active anymore. The local WP web page isn’t active too. I want to continue the translation support for WP and also for the others sub-project. So, can I become validator for Macedonian language?
I am writing this because my friends and I (almost) translated the bbPress part in Macedonian, because we want to use it into our local project.
Thanks in advance.
To summarize a number of requests that have not received the love they deserve, all related to the creation of projects in GlotPress.
WordPress 3.8.x – The WordPress project needs a 3.8.x sub-project, should have been created when 3.8 was released, we’re @ 3.8.1 now.
bbPress 2.5.x – Three follow up versions has been released since 2.5 (3 months old). What does /trunk give us, 2.6 dev or 2.5.x?
BuddyPress 1.8.x, 1.9.x – The BuddyPress projects are desperately behind. We’re @ 1.9.1!
How are we to know what the trunk projects gives us when it’s such a disarray? All these projects has been requested multiple times by different people. Do we really have to nag every time new projects need to be created?
What happened to the discussed planning for polyglots? Are we going anywhere at all?
Hi: I need to unmark a user who is consider by BBPress as Bonzo in https://es.forums.wordpress.org/
J’ai passé un bon moment à revoir, corriger, uniformiser et améliorer la consistance de la traduction de bbPress
Mais je ne sais pas comment valider les modifications?
Je connais bien d’autres systèmes de traduction tels que Transifex avec lequel j’ai traduit en français Disqus, pUpload et Elgg.org, mais GlotPress? comment obtenir les droits de relecteur?
Merci à toute la communauté
I am translating bbPress 2.4.x package to Hebrew. I have translated quite a bit of it and would like to share and collaborate this effort and maybe translate more plugins. (I already use the translation in 1 of my clients sites)
I am new to this and have questions about the translation issue.
bbPress 2.5 has just been released, you can update the translations in the /dev branch whilst we await the /2.5.x branch to be created https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/bbpress
@nacin Could you please add the ‘en_AU’ translations for bbPress (/2.4.x branch) & BuddyPress ( /dev branch as there is no /1.8.x branch) .po & .mo files to i18n, similar to https://i18n.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/22193/
