Modifying the Showcase

Your RosettaRosetta The code name of the theme for the local WordPress sites (eg. bg.wordpress.org is a “Rosetta” site). All locale specific WordPress sites are referred to as “Rosetta sites.” The name was inspired from the ancient Rosetta Stone, which contained more or less the same text in three different languages. site allows for you to showcase up to four sites as great examples of WordPress in your community

There are a number of expectations for sites in the showcase. Use the following as a basis for selecting sites:

  1. Conforming to the General Expectations for Rosetta sites.
  2. Be in your language.
  3. Be from your local region.

Now that you’ve selected sites, it’s time to add them to the showcase.

To add a new showcase item, navigate to your Rosetta dashboard and click on the Showcase menu in the sidebarSidebar A sidebar in WordPress is referred to a widget-ready area used by WordPress themes to display information that is not a part of the main content. It is not always a vertical column on the side. It can be a horizontal rectangle below or above the content area, footer, header, or any where in the theme.. You’ll need to add a URLURL A specific web address of a website or web page on the Internet, such as a website’s URL www.wordpress.org of the website as well as a title. Screenshots of websites are automatically generated based on the URL you provide. The title you provide is used as a caption below each screenshot.
