I am responsible for the Swedish translation of BuddyPress. I have committed my translation files to https://i18n.svn.buddypress.org/sv_SE/ with my username t.sjogren. I tried to upload files for 1.5 nov but get authorization failed. Please assist

I use P2p2 "p2" is the name of the theme that blogs at make.wordpress.org use (and o2 is the accompanying plugin). When asked to post something "on the p2" by a member of the Polyglots team, that usually means you're asked to post on the team blog https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/. theme on a self hosted multisiteMultisite Multisite is a WordPress feature which allows users to create a network of sites on a single WordPress installation. Available since WordPress version 3.0, Multisite is a continuation of WPMU or WordPress Multiuser project. WordPress MultiUser project was discontinued and its features were included into WordPress core.https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network. install for three small projects and it works great. The only feature that the other team members really asks for is notification of new posts and comments via email. On this site i see that its implemented. I would be very grateful for implementation guidance for the downloadable P2 theme. Add code to theme? Plugins that works with multisite?

Hi i´m translating BuddyPress to Swedish and i have a install here: http://www.tsjogren.se/buddypress/activity/feed/ . Any tips why the RSS feed text is garbled? Do you think its installation specific or a bug?

@Zé I´m going to update the Swedish translation of BuddyPress to ver. 1.2.7. I want to do this in GlotPressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org.. But there is only a development sub-project taking stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. from trunk. I would like to have a sub-project for the 1.2 branch. Looking at the WordPress project in GlotPress and there the dev project and the “live” project is separated.
Is this a good idea? Lacking experience in GlotPress…

When i upgraded(automatic) a BuddyPress install from 1.2.4.1 to 1.2.5.2 the translationfiles (buddypress-sv_SE.moMO files MO, or Machine Object is a binary data file that contains object data referenced by a program. It is typically used to translate program code, and may be loaded or imported into the GNU gettext program. This is the format used in a WordPress install. These files are normally located inside .../wp-content/languages/ & buddypress-sv_SE.po) in ‘/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-languages was deleted! Only the buddypress.pot-file was there, resulting in a non translated pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party. Was i doing something wrong? Is the translationfiles supposed to be deleted? If that is the case the user should be “warned” before hitting upgrade.

Hi
I am responsible for the swedish translation of BuddyPress (se.buddypress.org). The translation for BuddyPress 1.2.4.1 is complete and i am now updating to 1.2.5.2. I downloaded the .pot-file from https://svn.buddypress.org/tags/1.2.5.2/bp-languages/ and did a ‘Update from .pot-file’ in Poedit (I´m on a Mac). The i get the dialog with the new strings and after that a error message http://cl.ly/ed3551907f72cdd4dfd5. I click OK and everything seems to work OK. Any tips?

One more thing. I want to use GlotPress but hen i upload my completed .po-file to https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/buddypress/dev/sv/default there is a lot of strings that is still untranslated. Any tips?
