WordPress 4.1 is on BetaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process. stage would be nice to have finally the 4.X branch and having the ne twentyfeifteen theme too, even if there will be changes in stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. we could start to translate and not having to rush in the last 2 days before release.

I love so much the https translate wordpress…

I love so much the https://translate.wordpress.org/languages/LANGUAGECODE pages for we validators it’s nice have for our language have a site that show if there is string to translate, to approve in every project (i hope all will be there soon). I’m planning to make link to this page from our national website official page to address people that willing to contribute in translation. Unfortunately this page update really slow, i translated some string this morning, i approved some suggestion ecc, but the page is still showing string to be approved etc, but when you go to translate or approve it there is nothing to do. This it’s not a problem for me i know update is slow but if someone willing to spend some time to do some translation and pickup a project with, let’s say 20 strings untranslated and opening the project there nothing to translate, cause someone else have done it, this can be confusing and make people go away and never return. Can we have quite real time update for these pages? or at lest an update time of not more than 15/30 mins maximum?

So we are 24 hour from the new release and no news about what have to be done or not, the files in SVNSVN Apache Subversion (often abbreviated SVN, after its command name svn) is a software versioning and revision control system. Software developers use Subversion to maintain current and historical versions of files such as source code, web pages, and documentation. Its goal is to be a mostly compatible successor to the widely used Concurrent Versions System (CVS). WordPress core and the wordpress.org released code are all centrally managed through SVN. https://subversion.apache.org/. should be updated? package should be made? what about the origina idea to have everything in some way under glotpressGlotPress GlotPress is the translation management software that powers Translate.WordPress.org. More information is available at glotpress.org.? I undertsand devs are in rush for bugs tickets etc but one more time people that give theyr time to make WP in tons of languages are left alone with no info till the last minute or after it

I can’t get 3.8 it_IT version every time i make a version i get a message like:

Cause WP 3.8 is coming to town soon wouldn’t be nice make 3.7 branch on translate:wordpress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/? We didn’t have it yet and we are still on trunk even if 3.7 got a maintenance release. Thanks

I’m doing some changes to rosetta po file…

I’m doing some changes to rosettaRosetta The code name of the theme for the local WordPress sites (eg. bg.wordpress.org is a “Rosetta” site). All locale specific WordPress sites are referred to as “Rosetta sites.” The name was inspired from the ancient Rosetta Stone, which contained more or less the same text in three different languages. .po file bue i need to change also the amil where al request submitted by contact form arrive, i supposed it was my profile but no luck and it isent’ in rosetta files… how and who to ask to for change it ?

SIGH I see the development version was made…

SIGH 🙁 I see the development version was made and that’s good 🙂 But… 3.4 now are fully empty and during last weekes for italian people have submitted a lot of revisionsRevisions The WordPress revisions system stores a record of each saved draft or published update. The revision system allows you to see what changes were made in each revision by dragging a slider (or using the Next/Previous buttons). The display indicates what has changed in each revision. that are gone forever if there is no backup 🙁
