I’d like to request en_AU-informal “informal” English Australian localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ created please 🙂

The default remains formal.

I couldn’t find any specific requirements in the handbook regarding what else is required for an informal variant of a locale to be setup, if there is please let me know and I’ll go and gather that to add to this request.

@nacin Could you please add the ‘en_AU’ translations for bbPress (/2.4.x branch) & BuddyPress ( /dev branch as there is no /1.8.x branch) .po & .mo files to i18n, similar to https://i18n.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/22193/

I have just tried to build my first en_AU package using “3.7. and 3.7.x”, I also tried build via tag ‘3.7.1’ and I only see the error “Invalid source”

I presume I am supposed to have something in the ‘Locale branch for dist files:’ dropdown though as you can see I do not (https://cloudup.com/cjsNhf2rYxu)

Is this something that needs to be setup by @nacin or is it because the Rosetta deployment for en_AU hasn’t been deployed yet or because there isn’t a SVN repo at https://i18n.svn.wordpress.org/ for en-au?
