A lot of effort went into converting WPAndroid’s english stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. to follow the new Android writing guidelines. It meant that most strings that have a sentence structure are now lower-case, except for the first word.

Unfortunately this means that all of the strings that were changed will also need to be updated for each translation. Thanks again for your help translating, you guys are heroes!

I’ve been trying to add the user ‘endriu’…

I’ve been trying to add the user ‘endriu’ as a validator for Polish on the Android project at: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/android/dev/pl/

He’s cleared cookies, logged in/out but still doesn’t see the approve/reject buttons. Any ideas as to why?

p.s. The percentage complete and untranslated counts are way off, does the project need to be manually refreshed or something?

Hi everyone! We have finalized the stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. for the upcoming release of WordPress for iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads.. It would be very helpful to us if you guys could translate the new strings.

Note: There’s a few new strings that have some funny naming conventions and formatting. It’s important to leave the special placeholder characters when you translate.

  • “%@ commented on %@: n%@” is for a comment notification that has a post title, ex: “David commented on Day at the Fair: This was a great post!”
  • “Comment from %1$@: n%3$@” is for a comment notification that has no pos title, ex: “Comment from David: This was a great post!”
