You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them. Also join your language team’ internal communication channels.

However, since you correctly mentioned all these localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ tags, notifications have been sent to all their current GTEs about your post. I checked the translations for localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ nl_NL, and was surprised by the quality of them. I know CrowdIn uses native speaking translators to check the translations. I doubt that the stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. imported into nl_NL were checked by a native Dutch person that knows the requirements for WordPress. Therefore there were to many translations wrong. I first did make changes requested for them, but reading your request, I rejected them all. All other suggestions are now improved/processed. Please do not import more AI generated suggestions, which are not properly checked by a native speaker.

It is typically used to translate program code, and may be loaded or imported into the GNU gettext program. This is the format used in a WordPress install. These files are normally located inside .../wp-content/languages/ to more modern language packs), and it looks like the original nl_NL translation was from 2013, so I suspect things have drifted with contributors over time. Very greatly appreciative of your time and feedback.

I’ve started reviewing the hu_HU translations.

Some suggestions are good and can be approved, but unfortunately the majority need corrections. The main recurring issues are inconsistent use of formal and informal address, terminology that does not follow the Hungarian WordPress glossary, and several inaccurate or unnatural translations.

I’ll continue reviewing the suggestions individually and will approve, correct, or reject them as appropriate.

Based on the current quality of the Hungarian translations, I’m not able to grant PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves. access at this time.   - 1-2 / 1-4: half-width ? and ! with a space before them, and a half-width space between half-width and full-width text (e.g. “GUID に”, “PDF ファイル”, “REST 呼び出し”)
  - 1-4: half-width “:” with no space before it (e.g. “タイトル:”, “タクソノミー:”)
  - 1-5: half-width “( )” with spaces outside them
  - 3-4: dropped “申し訳ありませんが” from the “Sorry, …” messages
  - 3-6: すでに instead of 既に
  - Glossary terms: フォルダー, リビジョン, アイキャッチ画像, タクソノミー, 投稿者. Button and menu labels go in 「」.
