Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them. Also join your language team’ internal communication channels.

I am the author of the Calucon Third-Party Embed Gate pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. I have submitted German translations for it and would like to be able to approve them and keep them up to date as the plugin is released.

    Thanks for the reply. I have now added de_AT and de_CH. Could the #de_AT and #de_CH tags be added back, please?
    I left them out originally because, when I wrote the request, I was not sure I qualified for them.
    
    de_AT is de_DE 1:1 verbatim.
    
    de_CH (and its variants) correspond to the de_DE texts, including the adjustments provided by the Swiss language team.

    How I approached this: All translations were first generated using AI machine translation, and then proofread by me using Poedit and the glossary. If I missed anything, feedback is very welcome.

@calucon ist jetzt PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves.. Die Übersetzungen wurden von unserem Polyglots-Team nicht überprüft, aber ich habe sie mir kurz angesehen.

Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass das Glossar nicht eingehalten wird.

Die deutsche Sprache hat 2 Zweige: die formelle Anrede (formal, Sie) und die informelle Anrede (default, du).

Bitte beachte und befolge diese Punkte:
- Lies dir den deutschen Style Guide durch;
- Sieh dir das deutsche Glossar an;
- Besuche uns im deutschen SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/-Kanal #polyglots, um Antworten auf eventuell auftauchende Fragen zu erhalten.   Ja, du hast absolut recht. Mir ist u.a. die korrekte Übersetzung des Begriffs “border” -> “Rand” (statt “Rahmen”) nicht aufgefallen. Ich werde die Begriffe erneut prüfen, bevor ich sie freischalte.
