First, a correction.I imported #it_IT the same evening, about forty minutes after that post went up, and I never went back to add it to the list. That was careless of me, and I am sorry. Everything that post said about the other four applies to Italian too.

Second, eighteen more today, 549 stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. each, all as “waiting” suggestions:

They have NOT been reviewed by a speaker of any of these languages, so they do not meet the general expectations as they stand. I am not requesting an editor role for any of them, and I am not asking anyone to approve them. They are offered only as a starting point for whoever wants one. Please reject or discard them freely if they are not useful to your team. Two notes on the import warnings. Finnish raised 25 “missing the initial uppercase” warnings: they are language names, which Finnish writes in lower case (Italian -> italia), so they are false positives. Japanese and Tamil raised 2 each, and Hindi, Korean, Oriya, Telugu and Urdu 1 each. The other ten locales imported with none.
