The translations were prepared alongside the plugin’s own website, which
 ships
in the same eight languages, so the terminology stays consistent between the plugin,
the panel and the documentation.

One thing to flag honestly: on my first attempt I imported several
 language files
into the Polish project by mistake. I re-imported the correct Polish file afterwards,
so the current suggestions there are Polish, but a few stale Spanish and French
ones remain underneath — please feel free to reject them, or I will clean them up

 22. Hi, and thanks for the honest replies. You’re right, so let me answer
      straight.
 23. How I got the translations: I used AI. I wrote a glossary and a style
      brief for
each language, and I checked the technical side myself (placeholders, HTMLHTML
HTML is an acronym for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is a markup language that
is used in the development of web pages and websites., plural forms), but no native
speaker reviewed them. I now see that’s exactly what the handbook warns about.
I should have read it before importing anything, and definitely before asking
for PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred

or by the contributors themselves.. My mistake.
 24. Languages I actually speak: Polish (native) and English. That’s it.
      Nothing else
well enough to judge whether a sentence sounds right.
 25. So I’m withdrawing the PTE request for everything except pl_PL.
 26. [@iworks](https://profiles.wordpress.org/iworks/), thanks for granting Polish

right about the address form. The stringsString

brief, not from any thinking about the German audience, which honestly says it
all. I’ll read the style guide and the glossary.
