You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them. Also join your language team’ internal communication channels.

First, I noticed that the source stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. in the code are written in Japanese. This makes it difficult for most contributors to translate the plugin into other languages. For example, you can see the French translation project here:

To make translations easier for contributors worldwide, I recommend using English as the source language for your plugin strings. I would appreciate your consideration.

Second, the current Japanese translations do not follow the Japanese Translation Style Guide. To maintain consistent terminology and notation across the WordPress ecosystem, please follow the style guide, even as the plugin author:

Note that this changes every msgid, so the previous translation set has been replaced entirely rather than updated.

While doing this I also fixed a related issue you did not mention: the plan label was being built by stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. concatenation, which made it impossible for translators to control the spacing between half-width and full-width characters. It now uses a placeholder (“%s plan”), so rule 1-4 can actually be satisfied by the translation.

2. Japanese translations now follow the style guide

I went through the style guide and have submitted updated Japanese translations to both the Development and the Stable project. The rules that actually applied to this plugin were:
- 1-4 — a half-width space between half-width and full-width characters, excluding digits: 基本 SEO, APIAPI An API or Application Programming Interface is a software intermediary that allows programs to interact with each other and share data in limited, clearly defined ways. キー, Web 版
- 1-9 — no space around half-width digits or numeric placeholders: 最大6サイト, 無料枠残り: %1$d/%2$d回
- 1-5 / 1-6 — half-width parentheses with a space outside but not inside: 技術 SEO (基本3項目のみ)
The previous translations violated 1-5 (full-width parentheses, e.g. 認証成功（%sプラン）) and 1-4 (技術SEO, APIキー). These have all been corrected.
