A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Hi! I’m the author of “Lynbro Cookie Consent” (https://wordpress.org/plugins/lynbro-cookie-consent/) and I’d like PTE access to validate its translations.

I’ve imported complete translations for 34 locales (all 24 official EU languages plus others); they’re sitting as “waiting”. A few teams (Czech, Russian, Dutch, Romanian, Swedish, German) have started approving — thank you! I’d appreciate PTE for the remaining locales, especially Danish, plus German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Ukrainian and others, so I can help validate them.

Thank you!ed via the translation editorTranslation Editor Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects. There are two different Translation Editor roles: General Translation Editor and Project Translation Editor; some teams (e.g. Czech) have started approving. I’d like PTE to help validate the rest.

Do you personally really speak all these languages?
Or how can you be sure that they follow glossaries and style guides for all localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. As I already mentioned – unverified machine translations are not allowed.

This is not working with your method. You mention Dutch translation, but there are no waiting stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. for Dutch currently. They were processed already, and I fixed a lot of entries.
So request for nl_NL denied

To answer your questions directly: I’m a native/fluent speaker of Danish, Russian and Ukrainian, and I’m the pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. Polish was reviewed by a native-Polish-speaking colleague.

How the translations were produced: they began as AI-assisted drafts, cross-checked across several models, and — crucially — every stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. was then reviewed and corrected by a native speaker before I asked for approval. I understand unreviewed machine output isn’t acceptable here; I’m not asking you to take AI on trust — the guarantee is the human native review, not the tooling.

So I’d like to narrow my request to only what is genuinely human-reviewed:
- da_DK — already granted (thank you, @ellegaarddk); reviewed and approved (100%).
- uk — I’m a native speaker and reviewed every string; requesting PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves. for uk.
- ru_RU — your team has already completed it 100%, so no PTE is needed; I’ve left only a few suggestions as waiting.
- pl_PL — reviewed by a native-Polish-speaking colleague. If PTE must be held by the individual speaker, please advise and she can request it herself.
