# Project Translation Editor for several…

Project Translation EditorProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor(
often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific
project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific
locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation
contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
or by the contributors themselves. for several plugins
 PluginPlugin A plugin is
a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress
website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites.
WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly
with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory [https://wordpress.org/plugins/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/)
or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party.: accessibilityAccessibility Accessibility(
commonly shortened to a11y) refers to the design of products, devices, services,
or environments for people with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures
both “direct access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility
with a person’s assistive technology (for example, computer screen readers). (https://

Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together,
form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines
concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and
embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. Plugin: lang-attribute

Editor Reason: Hi, Poliglots team, I was an active Polish translator. I participated
in WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering
everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community
comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and
share the joy. [Learn more](https://central.wordcamp.org/about/). Contributor Days
at WordCamp PL, translating into Polish (though I did it under a different account).
Additionally, I often translate plugins or themes locally when building websites
for clients (I’d like to add these translations to the repositoryWordPress Localization
Repository The **WordPress Localization Repository** at [https://i18n.svn.wordpress.org/](https://i18n.svn.wordpress.org/)
is a [Subversion repository](https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Subversion) where
official WordPress translations are maintained. See [Working with the Translation Repository](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/working-with-the-translation-repository/)
for details. in the future). I’m also a mentor in the WP Credits program, and my
students are currently contributing translations. It would be helpful if I could
approve their translations or those of other students. It would be great if I could
be granted permission to approve translations for plugins I’ve prepared translations
for (the plugins listed above), or for others plugins/themes.
