# PTE Request for WP Adminify,…

PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as
PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for
example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project
translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors.
Per project translation, editors are appointed by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
or by the contributors themselves. Request for WP Adminify, Admin Bar Editor and
Master Addons
 I would like to request PTE access for the following plugins and
user:

 * Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/adminify/
 * Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/admin-bar/
 * Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/master-addons/

 3. The correct localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language
     code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.
     A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/)
     tag, [#pt_BR](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=pt_BR) was added
     after the post was published. So I’m repeating the tag here to trigger a notification
     to the Brazilian team. Now we’re waiting for a comment from them.
      PS! [@jayroncastro](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jayroncastro/)
     If you’re interested in being appointed as translation editorTranslation Editor
     Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation
     Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation
     Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects. There are two
     different Translation Editor roles: [General Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2026/02/08/pte-request-for-wp-adminify/?output_format=md#general-translation-editor)
     and [Project Translation Editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2026/02/08/pte-request-for-wp-adminify/?output_format=md#project-translation-editor)
     for Brazilian Portuguese, then I recommend you to read [https://br.wordpress.org/team/handbook/#traducao](https://br.wordpress.org/team/handbook/#traducao)

 6. [@tobifjellner](https://profiles.wordpress.org/tobifjellner/) Thank you for fixing
     the tag notification!
 7. I have already read the Brazilian Handbook and the Glossary to ensure high-quality
     standards.
 8. Just to clarify: I have already uploaded the translation files for “WP Adminify”
     and “Admin Bar Editor” (they are waiting for approval). I am currently finalizing
     the “Master Addons” translation and will upload it in the next few days.
 9. Looking forward to the Brazilian team’s review.
