 24. Bonjour [@meinturnierplan](https://profiles.wordpress.org/meinturnierplan/)
 25. The French translation team will do its best to get your request accepted ASAP.
You can have more info [how we handle PTE requests](https://fr.wordpress.org/2015/12/18/how-french-community-handles-pte-requests/).
 26. Can you also get in touch on the French SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group
Chat Platform [https://slack.com/](https://slack.com/). The WordPress community
has its own Slack Channel at [https://make.wordpress.org/chat/](https://make.wordpress.org/chat/)#
traductions channel using our [direct invitation link](https://join.slack.com/t/wordpressfr/shared_invite/zt-b7l3dbj4-vxEUcxPBX~6TuUG0cwIemA).

We have a few recommendations before giving PTEProject Translation Editor A Project
Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate
strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen)
for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that
are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed
     by a [general translation editor](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/glossary/#general-translation-editor)
after a [request by the project author](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/#requesting-new-translation-editors)
or by the contributors themselves.’s access.
 27. Please keep in mind the French Glossary and Guidelines available in our [Handbook](https://fr.wordpress.org/team/handbook/)
     as well.
 28. Merci

 31. Ciao [@meinturnierplan](https://profiles.wordpress.org/meinturnierplan/)

useful for users, we have some rules and guidelines for becoming a PTEProject

Translators can find how we are organized [in our handbook (in Italian)](https://it.wordpress.org/team/handbook/polyglots/).
 33. We invite the person on your team who is a native Italian speaker and has done
the translations to join us in the Italian Polyglots Slack channel with their
     personal account:

we have a page with [instructions on how to access our Slack if needed](https://it.wordpress.org/slack/),
