Now, I’d like to request PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. I just added an updated POT filePOT file POT files are the template files for PO files. They will have all the translation strings left empty. A POT file is essentially an empty PO file without the translations, with just the original strings. and German translations. The plugin is currently closed, with the Plugin team about to review it after a reported security issue. Once the plugin has been reopened, I will ensure the catalog is up to date.

A while ago, I was actually an editor for the German localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/(s), but I assume there was some spring cleaning done or I was removed due to inactivity, which is fine.
Edit: Ah, my bad. I just saw that I am still a PTE for de_DE for CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress., but this, of course, does not affect any plugins. Please just ignore this comment. I was incorrectly assuming that I would be able to publish de_DE translations directly anywhere, which is wrong.

When you published this post, you should have included the German localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ tag #de_DE to trigger a notification about your post to the GTEs of your locale.
Now that this post isn’t relevant anymore, I’ve removed the to-do status.

The best place to contact the GTEs for German would be the channel “polyglots” in the German SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. domain.

A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. for my plugin, as well as any others. Die Übersetzungen wurden von unserem Polyglots-Team nicht geprüft, aber ich habe sie mir kurz angesehen.
  
  Die deutsche Sprache hat 2 Zweige: die formelle Anrede (formal, Sie) und die informelle Anrede (default, du).
  
  Du solltest alle folgenden Schritte einhalten:
  - Lies den deutschen Style Guide;
  - Sieh dir das deutsche Glossar an;
  - Besuche uns im deutschen SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/., Kanal #polyglots, um Antworten auf eventuell auftauchende Fragen zu erhalten – wann immer du unsicher bist, frag dort zuerst. Deutschsprachiges Tutorial, wie man sich für den deutschen Slack-Kanal registrieren kann;
  - Bitte das Team (und nicht einzelne Personen) in Slack, Kanal #polyglots um Unterstützung.
