Translation request for WordPress Campus Connect attendee survey form

Your support is needed! The WordPress Campus Connect attendee survey form requires translation into additional languages.

This project’s goal is to make the survey available in more languages, ensuring students and attendees can respond in their local language. This initiative will make the form easier to complete and increase responses by making it more inclusive and accessible.

Translation tabs have been prepared and added to the working spreadsheet based on feedback from WordPress Campus Connect organizers. The wider Polyglots community is now invited to help with translations and reviews!

How to help with translations

If you are adding a new translation tab

• Copy the original tab: EN - COPY THIS.
• Rename it using the format: EN - xx_YY. For example: EN - ja_JP (for English to Japanese).

How to add translations

• Column A contains the original English text.
• Add your translation in the corresponding row of Column B.

If you are a GTEGeneral Translation Editor A General Translation Editor (often referred to as GTE) is a person, who has global access to validate strings on all projects for a specific locale./PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves. for any of the localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ listed above, your help in reviewing translations marked as “Completed, ready for review” would be especially appreciated.

If you’re interested in helping with any of the languages above (or think another language should be added), please feel free to get started. When you start working on a language, please leave a comment on this post mentioning the localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ (for example: “Working on Marathi – mr_IN”). This will help us avoid duplicate work and keep track of progress.
