Brainstorm: Polyglots Table at WCEU 2025 Contributor Day

With WordCamp Europe 2025 Contributor Day fast approaching on June 5, 2025, in Basel, Switzerland, it’s time to start thinking about how we can make the most of the Polyglots Table!

I’ve submitted my interest in being a Table Lead for the Polyglots teamPolyglots Team Polyglots Team is a group of multilingual translators who work on translating plugins, themes, documentation, and front-facing marketing copy. https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/., and while the form may already be closed, I plan to be there and help guide the table’s activities. Regardless of official roles, our collective effort is what truly matters, and I’d love for us to co-create an impactful and inclusive experience for all.

🧠 Why This Brainstorm?

This post is an open call for ideas. Whether you’re a first-time contributor, a veteran translator, or a localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.
