I am reaching out to express my interest in contributing as a Marathi Language Editor for WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/. With a passion for language and a deep understanding of Marathi, I am eager to help enhance the platform’s accessibilityAccessibility Accessibility (commonly shortened to a11y) refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments for people with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures both “direct access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility with a person’s assistive technology (for example, computer screen readers). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accessibility) for Marathi-speaking users worldwide.

I have experience in translation and a strong familiarity with WordPress. I am committed to maintaining accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance in every translation. I believe my skills align perfectly with the responsibilities of a LocaleLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.
