You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

I have been proposing translations for several projects and while browsing other projects I noticed that many plugins/themes are still waiting for translation approval.
Below is one of my larger translations

I’d suggest that you establish direct chat contact on SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. (both you and @iworks are on the global Slack).

In our list of local Slack teams, we’ve got an entry for a Polish Slack, too. I don’t know how active it is, I guess Marcin can comment on that.

The special email address you’ll need to join was created automatically when you joined the global Slack, and is constructed as your username here, followed by @chat.wordpress.org.

I’ll remove the to-do status of this post, and trust that you find a more direct way to coordinate your further contributions. But, of course, you’re always welcome to add a comment here if other ways don’t work. In that case, make sure to use the Polish locale tag #pl_PL – this will trigger a notification to all GTEs of the locale.
