  After all, surely in all plugins there are strings that repeat themselves!!!
  Instead of translating every time, they will make general strings that everyone will translate!

    Actually, we tried this many years ago, but had to stop it.
    
    For example, the stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. “Post” could mean a lot of different things.
    
    A news article (noun)
    
    To publish or push something (verb)
    
    After (preposition)
    
    An entry in a database (noun)
    
    … and there are more meanings that may be less related to internet publishing, but may be relevant in certain cases.
    
    But, since 2-3 years, our translation platform uses a huge Translation Memory, which makes it quite easy to reuse translations from other plugins/themes.
    And it has long time been possible to use translation export and import functionality, to easily reuse translations from other projects that have a similar context.
