You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

Thank you for contributing to the Bulgarian translation of WordPress. In order to have your translations reviewed you need to inform the translation editorsTranslation Editor Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects. There are two different Translation Editor roles:
General Translation Editor and Project Translation Editor of the projects you’ve been working on. There are thousands of plugins and themes that could be translated and translation editors don’t get a notification automatically when new translations are suggested by contributors like you.

This is why it’s completely up to you to notify us – either here or in the Bulgarian slackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. channel (wpbulgaria.slack.com -> #translators) that you’d like to get a review of your work.

I’m not on the Bulgarian team, but I can give some pointers to #bg_BG

As you can see in https://translate.wordpress.org/stats/ their coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. translation is in good shape, overall. But they’ve got a huge backlog of stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. to be checked. So all good resources are more than welcome.

The main translation editorsTranslation Editor Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects. There are two different Translation Editor roles:
General Translation Editor and Project Translation Editor are listed in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=bg_BG but being all based on volunteer contributions, some of these people may not be around much, or may be mostly busy with contributing to other teams, both of which is totally fine.
