Can anyone please help me with approving the waiting stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. for German #de_de language for our JoomSport pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party? Only 24 waiting strings to be approved pls. We couldn’t do it ourselves

Here – on this Requests page – we are exclusively concerned with the release of the role PTE. The German Polyglot team is reviewing the proposed translations via SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/., channel #polyglots.

The translations have not been reviewed by our Polyglot team, but I took a quick look at them.

There are some errors and some translations do not follow the rules set by the German Polyglot team.

You should all follow these steps (either YOU, the Dev, or the Translator):
- Get yourselves (you AND/OR the translator – both would be best for perfect communication) on the German Slack Community, channel #polyglots
  German tutorial how to join our Slack channel.
- Read the German Style Guide;
- Read the German Glossary;
- Use our Slack, #polyglots channel to get answers for questions that may arise – if you’re not sure, ask first;
- Ask the team (not individuals) in our Slack #polyglots for assistance.

Yep. You’ve found one of the things in our platform that at first may seem strange. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Reason: CL-PTE is an administrative role. As opposed to virtually all other accounts here at wp-org, this account is supposed to be handled by one or more administrators that simply use this role to publish translations that should be of good quality already from the beginning. That’s why we keep saying, that CLPTE is only meant to be used for translations received from professional, duly instructed translators.
A CLPTE does not have access to approve pending translations from other users or change already approved translations from other users.

A PTE, on the other hand, is an individual contributor, who personally is supposed to know the target language well enough to tell good and bad translations apart. In other words, they are the “goal-keeper” for good translation quality.

If you provide your own, personal account, then that account could be made PTE.

Or simply approve that stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings.. I believe this is a single case following 6 years product development.
