I’ve suggested (German) translations for this pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the Plugin Directory or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party and would like to have them reviewed. Actually I’d like this for all 783 translations which are waiting and translate the untranslated stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. as well. I’d also like to become a PTE.

Name: Tutor LMS

I’ve tried to reach both current German PTEs of this plugin but both are inactive even outside of this plugin since multiple weeks. For this plugin specifically, many translations awaiting review (for dev+stable), they are 783.

Update: jensratzel has started to review translations and the number of wating translations is now down to 218 + 432 = 647 (work is in progess now)

According to:

  • PTE @bechi73 made his last translation for the tutor plugin 2 years ago,

I try to contact him thru SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at since two weeks unsuccessfully.

  • PTE @gerdneumann made hist last translation for the plugin 12 months ago

He is not in the DEWP Slack, but he is registered as @gerd.neumann in the global slack (where I tried to contact him), The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. asked him if he can join the DEWP slack as well.

This plugin is in urgent need of an editor, and by simply reviewing and the 783 waiting translations (fixing any issues along the way), this plugin can make a huge step forwards.

I acknowledge that I am a new translator, and will of course look forward to do my best to follow all your recommendations (Style guides etc).
