I added the localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ tag #bn_BD that was missing (and mentioned it here to notify the locale team about this post).

Thank you for your interest in Translating WP MetaMeta Meta is a term that refers to the inside workings of a group. For us, this is the team that works on internal WordPress sites like WordCamp Central and Make WordPress..
However, we’ve found some common issues that we see in most Bengali translators, like:

👉 সার্বজনীন ≠ সর্বজনীন where সর্বজনীন would be the perfect wording for the word Global
👉 Level 6 is in the context of “Font Size”, where is “ষষ্ঠ ধাপ” (Sixth Step) won’t be the translation anyway
👉 পূর্বরূপ to any Bengali speaker would be the “Previous State” [of something], whereas it’s been used for translating “Preview” – seems incorrect and out of context
👉 “Enterprise” doesn’t pronounce as “ইন্টারপ্রাইজ” in Bangladesh, and can easily be verified by Google Translate, same goes to “GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/” – never used as “গুতেনবার্গ” – would be “গুটেনবার্গ” (Though we discourage machine-translations, but we can always cross check in all available sources)
👉 Minor: Some of them might be a typo, eg.: “জাগায়” would be “জায়গায়”, an Em Dash (—) is being translated into and En Dash (-)

Apart from the translations, there are some cases where there’s a tendency to ignore the Glossary or not be informed about the Glossary at all.
