# Hello Polyglots, I would like…

Hello Polyglots, I would like to request localeLocale Locale = language version,
often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes
Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in 
[https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/)
name modification for [#zh_HK](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=zh_HK),
for consistency across Chinese-based localesLocale Locale = language version, often
a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish
as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/).

For locale name in Chinese, change from “香港中文版” to “香港中文” (it looks awkward
with the extra word ‘版’ while others don’t) For locale site title in Chinese, Append“
Hong Kong” before the modified locale name, i.e. “Hong Kong 香港中文”. Thanks!

    science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping
    is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (
    DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.”
