Hi,

We have received fr and pt translation for our pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party and we would like to have them reviewed.

The idea is that translations should be approved by people who know the target language well enough to check that translations are correct, follow the style guide of each localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.         Joining this local Slack workspace is a two-step process:

I translated it into French (France) – fr_FR and since I’m a GTEGeneral Translation Editor A General Translation Editor (often referred to as GTE) is a person, who has global access to validate strings on all projects for a specific locale., I validated the stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. by myself so it’s now available in French <3

    If you enter the translation view for French, https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wikipedia-preview/stable/fr/default/ then there’s an “export” function at the bottom of the page to download a po-file, which you afterwards can import to a different localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A suggestion: Separate the string Wikipedia Preview from the pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party name by adding a context to where the string is used. This specific string could be translated as describes perfectly the kind of feature where the heading is, but the plugin name shouldn’t be translated.
