You can help translate WordPress to your language by logging in to the translation platform with your WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and suggesting translations (more details).

Want to help in managing and validating translations? Get in touch with the existing language team and follow the glossaries & style guides if the team has them.

I am the pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party author for Scrollsequence. I know a few languages, and I would love to be approved for translation for our plugin. Please add me as translation editorTranslation Editor Translation editors can approve translations for projects. The GTE (General Translation Editor) and LM (Locale Manager) roles can add new users with the "Project Translation Editor" role that can approve translations for specific projects. There are two different Translation Editor roles: General Translation Editor and Project Translation Editor for th localesLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico.   I’m removing the to-do status for #fr_FR since there currently is nothing more left for the localeLocale Locale = language version, often a combination of a language code and a region code, for instance es_MX denotes Spanish as it’s used in Mexico. A list of all locales supported by WordPress in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/ team(s) to do. In order to proceed with this request, you (or, where applicable, the translator) can follow the instructions given in previous comments.

Einige Übersetzungen passen allerdings noch nicht hundertprozentig. Daher möchten wir an dieser Stelle dringend auf Styleguide, unser Glossar und Komposita (Durchkoppeln mit/ohne Bindestrich) hinweisen.
Wir empfehlen immer, die deutschsprachigen StringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. entsprechend zu erstellen, um den Nutzern deines Plugins eine möglichst hochwertige, professionelle und konsistente Lokalisierung zu bieten. Für de_DE Default verwenden wir die Anrede mit „du“ – „Sie“ ist ausschließlich für de_DE Formal gedacht. Alle nicht passenden Strings habe ich auf Fuzzy gesetzt.

Das Polyglots-Team unterstützt gerne bei allen Fragen oder der Umsetzung im deutschen Slack #polyglots Channel. So tritt man dem deutschen Slack-Channel bei.

Thanks for your contribution. I reviewed the stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. you translated, and most of them were ok, so they are now approved. However, your translations contain a few errors and some inconsistencies with our glossary, which I invite you to consult at this address.

Before granting PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves. access, we always run a quick mentoring: this means that one of the most experienced Italian WordPress translators will assist you in resolving your doubts and ensure translation consistency.

  2. If you even add any tags in a post after it was published, please remember that nobody will get alerted to this. I.e. You were lucky that the Italian team even noticed your added request. In addition to adding their tag in the post, you should have also mentioned it a new comments, in order for a notification to be triggered, but also since I regularly scan almost all posts and comments, but I don’t alerted to edits.
